Our journey into nature's embrace

Welcome to Autism Magic Outdoors, based in Manchester, United Kingdom. We're dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life for young people living with autism and mental health problems. Our unique outdoor day trips to breathtaking scenic places like Goyt Valley and Lady Bower offer a safe, peaceful environment to stimulate calm mental states and promote genuine connection.

Inspired by a deeper understanding

The foundation of Autism Magic Outdoors stems from six years in medical school, observing the profound challenges individuals face with mental health. Since 2021, I've specialised in autism support, focusing on wellbeing and positive behaviour implementation. This experience led to a holistic approach, especially for young people encountering outdoor restrictions and limitations, recognising the immense potential of nature to heal and nurture.

Nature's gentle therapy

In an ever-changing world dominated by technology and constant online promotion, finding a place to relax and reflect is crucial for everyone. For young people with autism and mental health challenges, our outdoor trips provide that essential sanctuary. Away from digital distractions, these peaceful environments stimulate calm mental states, helping to alleviate anxiety and develop coping mechanisms by reconnecting with the 'grass roots' of nature.

Empowerment through connection

The most important thing for families to understand is the profound care and support we offer. Our trips foster a feeling of empowerment and freedom, allowing participants to truly enjoy the sounds, smells, tastes, sights, and feelings of Mother Nature. We aim to build a long-term connection and bond, promoting an independent outlook on life for individuals who might otherwise be fully dependent on others. It's about growth, discovery, and finding inner strength.

"Autism Magic Outdoors has been a lifeline for our family. The peace and joy our child experiences on these trips are immeasurable, fostering a confidence we haven't seen before."
